The business of sports is bigger than ever. In 2017, NFL league revenues exceeded $14B (that’s billion with a “B”). Over 17.8M people attended a game and 103.4M watched Super Bowl LII. It’s estimated that $4.76B was bet (legally and illegally) on this game alone. 59.3M people played some form of fantasy football. And this is only one sport among professional, college, high school, amateur, team and individual sports around the world. This course will look at many aspects of the business of sports. Sessions will feature a combination of guest speakers, case studies, presentations and stimulating discussions among all participants. Come prepared to challenge your assumptions and share your thoughts. Play ball!
